yeah that was funny

i have been having the same problem with my 2000 Honda Accord 5spd
i thought it was the wheel bearing, and i took my car to my friend who works at a dealership look at it, he didn't think it was the wheel bearing, and him and another mechanic began to look at it, and it have decided it is the whold front left axle
unfortunately honda doesn't offer remand axles from the parts department, so i have to get a new one
it normally costs 300$, but i found someone who can get it for 200$ it is on order, and hopefully will be in as soon as possible, because my car is getting scary as hell

BTW, you can do both in less than an hour if you got a lift.
What is the difference between the two? I've heard that on another thread, but there was never an answer given. The ones I purchased seems to work fine, but I would like to know the difference. O'reilly's gave a lifetime warranty with the ones I bought, so that's a little peace of mind (of course if they go out I have to go through the trouble of replacing them).

Keep the receipt for that warranty since you will probably need it.

Technically, when a company remanufactures a part core, they go in and replace every thing that is a wear item with new stuff. If a company rebuilds an item, they only have to replace the broken part and inspect the rest of the part's tolerance. Some rebuilt items are just basically cleaned up used parts.
