Wow never thought a cold air intake could dammage your engine if you suck H20 up... I dont want to risk that, thats why i am doing resurch before i buy a intake to see pros and cons of all them so would a Short ram be better if i dont want to risk the H20 in Engine? you only run the risk of sucking water into the engine with a cai if the filter is completely submerged. water splashing onto the filter wont cause any damage. if you're really worried, use bypass valve. they work at the expense of sacrificing a few hp.
