you'll need to disconnect your battery for 5 min. before you start working on it.. but remember, if you use a steering wheel without an airbag, you'll always have the srs light on and your passenger side will be disabled as well..

once you remove the wheel, you'll need to remove the column panel and remove the srs controller unit as well. i did it on my civic, but unfortunately, i didn't take pics for a diy..

but as the others have said, it is a federal violation to remove your air bag.. the only reason i swapped mine is because the air bag was stolen and it's a deciated race car now..
