My major reason why I don't associate with conservative republicans is the discrimination they hold to the gay culture...the gov't (federal and state) should give equal rights to couples no matter the gender. I'm very upset b/c our debt is out of control and the past 2 years they've been pressing these discrimination laws instead of fixing the real problems. They knew the public was pissed and they wanted to pass the laws to satiate the groups that helped get them elected and donated money to the campaign.
