northern michigan and the UP department of transportation handle snow fall much better than they do in Lansing. I run snow tires every year. They may only be needed a handful of times, but those handful of times they have saved my ass.
ha they do on main roads thats for sure, but where i live up there, good luck gettin plowed by 3 in the afternoon.
god ,i hope i dont have to buy snow tires this winter, but i guess we will see.
