agreed, my first car was a 94 tempo that had 200000 on it. she was a beater but reliable, i got it 2 weeks before i turned 16. a car is an excellent way of teaching responsibilty and the first step to going from a child to an adult. also helped my dad used to have me drive into town to pick him up stuff when i was only 14....just hadn me the keys and tell me what he needed....even saw cops and they just wave. advantages of small town, and it helped alot when i got my license and first car
