i would just get a new egr valve i have seen no cleaning procedure on the valve but the erg ports you can clean with a small brush and carb cleaner thats what i use.some times you have to take the intake manifold off and get it hot tanked a brush will only go so far their is a port in the head to if it gets badly clogged you will have to try and clean it or hot tank it to.
