you can pick up a set of used itr or ctr cams for ~$400. then get crome for literally free and have it tuned. you'll feel a nice bump in power from this. and it lays the ground work for whenever you feel like getting more power.
Ok, I did some research into the ITR and CTR cams. I searched around and read a bunch of stuff online and I referred to some books I have from Cartech.
It seems like with the cams, cam gears and proper timing adjustments I can make around 10HP

Then I read about the installation
Install Instructions but there is still one more thing that I haven't been able to find yet, the valve lash setting to use with an ITR cam. I figure since the lobes are slightly larger I would need to increase the lash slightly? And if so, but by how much?
