I have a D16z6 manual transmission. I was driving on the highway yestreday and I guess I didn't downshift very smoothly and now I have this bad noise coming from the transmission. It sounds like a half GRINDING, half metal-RUBBING noise. Sounds like some bearing or something is loose and rolling around or something. I hear it mostly when I am in Low or second gear and mostly as the RPM's are dropping or when I keep it at like 2000 rpms. Sometimes I even hear it when I'm idling in neutral. Please help.
