they actually use a bushing not a bearing. mine seized up and i just replace the dist and the car started right up. your coil is probably fine. but if you want to check it there is simple resistance tests, if you want more info hit me up. there should be no movement in 'dizzy' shaft. replace.. and also if you ever loose spark and something went wrong in the dist. dont replace individual parts just do the whole fuckin thing. it controls injectors and firing and all that good shit
