Now that I'm in my new role I'm kind of regretting accepting it in the first place. I work under the "Sr." role, so he kind of has say so of what I should be doing. I pretty much report to him.
It just seems as though I get all the hard work and I'm getting stressed out. His job every day pretty much is in the air. Never working on one thing in particular, just development crap. I'm still transitioning all my Procurement/Asset Management duties over to the person who filled my old job as well. :hsughr:
Before working for him, we were pretty cool. Now, I'm starting to see a totally different side that annoys the hell out of me. He takes his work too seriously, and I'm not like that. When I get home, I throw the Blackberry on the charger and relax. He told me that he's generally on a schedule when he gets home. "I spend the 2 hours with my wife and son. Usually put him to bed, then spend an hour with the wife. After that, it's a few hours to myself." And with that time, he's actually working from home.
This morning "Hey check this out, I developed this new process that I worked on all weekend."
:doh:Get a life man!
He's like a freegn corporate robot.
I just hate being stressed all the time. We're severely understaffed and thats the way its always been. 6 years now I've been with this company, I'm starting to think I should look elsewhere.
