its nothing wrong w/ the shifter. its when i let go of the clutch in a linear, smooth fashion at about 6k rpms (mind you, i dont shift at 6k rpm that often) into 2nd and the car does a quick buck before it feels like it finds its step. 2nd to 3rd is no sweat in the same rpm range and im doing nothing different. ive never grinded into 2nd gear (or any other gear in this car, for that matter).
my only solution at this point is to take my time releasing the clutch after ive shifted into 2nd :dunno:
