I have a 97 SH and was told on my last oil change that the oil pan seal was wet and would eventually need repair. I have been told that there is no gasket on the 5th gens and that they use Hondabond as a sealant. How hard is it to drop the oil pan and reapply the sealant or would it be best to spend the 190.00 that honda wants to fix it?
