If you were curious how the 4ws works basically it's sensors to activate the steering of the rear wheels are connected to the wheel speed sensors on the rear wheels and the 4ws doesnt actually kick on till the driver reaches 30mph.
4WS works at slow speeds and fast speeds. At low speeds, the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction that the front wheels turn. At high speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels are turned.
