h22a do burn oil if you in vtec alot also the cam end seal behind the vtec solonoid leaks oil and is a pain to replace! also the auto-tensioner has been known to fail and cause the timing belt to jump thus bending valves.
Im thinking that may be the cam end seal behind the vtec solenoid. All I know is some seal is leaking and I have had the timing belt done about 15000 miles ago along with the new liquid gasket around my oil pan.
