The pistons in the LS 81mm The crv pistons are 84mm! the LS sleeves are stronger which would allow you to run 10psi from a turbo if you wanted to, without needing to change the pistons or sleeves this is also true for the gsr and type R blocks. The B20 (crv block) Would need to be resleeved to run any amount of boost safely!!

the stroke is a little bit bigger in the b20 than the LS but not by much!! if you can get your hands on a gsr, type r, or b16a block you can use the LS crank and rods to gets the same result as you would get buy doing an lsvtec or crvtec without all of the hassle!!

what you need is:

1. b18c block or b16a(civic type R)
2. b18a/b crank
3. b18a/b rods and pistons (if you want high boost from turbo, more than 10psi use forged LS rods and pistons)
4. gsr crank bearings and rod bearings ( no machining required)

and you will be all set!!!
