Can't believe I'm saying this but I agree w/ you fully. It was completely uncalled for. I understand his reasoning behind not liking or agreeing with this US administration, but he went about it all wrong and only made himself look less credible and less serious. IMO, this will hurt him gravely in his persuit for a seat in the UN. I would like him to preserve a seat, and his comments will only hurt his ambition.

Chavez is just a plain idiot who like Iran would be nothing without oil.
But they do have oil. They are super powers that influence the rest of the world. We need to listen to them and speak with them. We need to discuss our disagreements and come up with a plan that can better both worlds. This has yet to be done.
