Default 92 Prelude, Strange starting problem

Ok people, I need help with this 92 Prelude, 2.3L si. This car will start fine for a week or two, but then with no warning it will start and shut right off! Then you can crank & crank & crank it over and nothing! It doesn't fire! Now here's what stumps me! If I pull the coil wire out of the distributor cap and let it hang there, go in the car and crank the engine over for 2 or 3 seconds then stop (it throws blue spark from the coil wire to anything metal), then plug the coil wire back into the distributor cap, and the engine starts right up like normal. Then it will go a week or two again until it does this very same thing, and I repeat the process.
I have replaced, cap, rotor, ICM, spark plug wires and coil wire, fuel filter, and still have the trouble. Then, I checked as many ground wires as I could find and cleaned all of them to make sure there was no corrosion. I even took off the coil and mounting brackets and cleaned all the mounting points. After I cleaned all the ground wires, the problem seemed to go away for about 2 months. Now it has returned again!!! ANY IDEAS please let me know!!! Thanks!
