schmoo - Golden Eagle has "dogpoint bottom" ? From the looks of this its unthreaded at the end of the stud -- wtf is up with that?
The dogpoint bottom is a much better design than ARP because it will bottom the stud out in the block and equally distribute the load on all of the threads instead of a non-dogpointed bottom that puts most stress on the first few threads.

I was just reading about the studs on Golden Eagle's website and they are glass bead coated. They claim it results in a more accurate torque value.
