I would hope that Honda did that when they put new front brake pads on. If that was it though, wouldn't it make noise for the entire duration that my foot is on the brake pedal?

When I'm braking, it'll make the noise when I am pressing the brakes lightly -- to come to a nice easy stop. If I jam on the brakes (not to the point of locking them up though) - they do not make the noise.

And again.. it makes the noise at a certain point in the rotation of the wheel.. it is not a constant noise.
