Is this the proper agenda? Because this is the plan that has been layed out on the table for this "new world order" according to Reagon....this has been stratigized since the nixon administration and the neo-cons that have been influenced since the begining of the cold war. Do you really think the United states can dominate and occupy the middle east?
good lord...talk about roman empires and anti-tolerance....we are talking about a domination of an entire race of people. The goal of the neo-con over the past 30 years is to dominate the middle east...democrosize the middle east and influence them. Influence the trading policy of the middle east and create a world wide free trade that is dominated by the United States. Sure, free trade and democracy will free the middle eastern people. But it will promote capitolism that will destroy muslim/islamic religion. Westernizing this region will destroy the only things that they hold close...capitolizing this region will dominate this faith practice and destroy islamic faith forever.

Why do you think the WORLD TRADE center was attacked? Why do you think "Dubai" is invested by 80% of fortune 500 corporations? While they sit in dubai...they sit and wait...they are just itching to capitolize the middle east. Colonialize the middle east....isn't that what our forfathers protested? Isn't that why we slapped the East India corporation in the face back in 1773??
Everything you are saying is made up. Prove to me your claims above that this is what the Neo-cons want. As a Conservative I have never heard or seen these "grand schemes" for the world as you claim. If you have certain proof, and not more conspiracy theory type documents, put them on the table. Otherwise stop turning speculation and hypothesising into facts to base your arguments.
Islamic fundamentalists hate us because we are free. Our women are not slaves to us, have their own voice, and are allowed to vote and hold jobs. They hate that. We allow peoples of differing religous faiths or none at all the freedom to worship as they please. They hate that as they want everyone to convert to Islam. For the most part the West is largely secular and not run by Islamic Sharia law, and they hate that too. But most of all they hate Israel and because we support them they hate us too.
Nowhere have I seen anything about colonizing the Middle East. If anything the governments that have been set up in Afghanistan and Iraq prove that the US is not into colonization. Their governments were setup by the native peoples and voted for by the native peoples. That is not colonization but free countries determining their own future.
We do not bring war to the Middle East because we want to, we do it out of necessity in response to a direct or immediate threat to the US and our allies. It has nothing to do with colonization. Khadafi is the poster child for this. He renounced all his WMD programs, came clean, turned them over to the US, admitted fault in past terrorist attacks, paid restitution and because he cooperated he still runs his country free of international and US sanctions. If we want to colonize the Middle East and Africa as you claim why bother using the carrot with Khadafi? That is a real flaw in your argument.
Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, all have Islamic governments and are friendly to the US and are our stronger allies in the region. Investment flows into and out of those countries both ways, they are able to maintain Islamic customs and run capitalistic-type economies...all three are thriving economically.
This war is against Islamic radicalism that has hijacked the religion and use it as a means to justify their ends. It is incompatible with the world and they are left to using terrorism to achieve ther goals. They hate us for who we are not what we do and will not stop until we convert, we die, or my favorite option, they die.
