I have a 2000 LX Sedan 4cyl MT. For some strange reason I have never seen the "time to get fuel" light. Maybe mine is burnt out - but I just filled up today and put 15.1 gallons in and the light did not come on. For this fill the needle was on empty - Maybe I am just not gutsy enough to drive until it turns on for fear of running out of gas...:doh:
Should it come on as a normal part of start up (to make sure it works)?
How many gallons are typically left when the light turns on?
It isnt an end of the world problem - just thought someone out there could clear this mystery up for me.

I've had my car for a good couple years and just saw it on for the first time a couple months ago. I always thought it was burnt out...
But anyway, to the point. My fuel light comes on when I first turn the car on, I belive yours should as well.
