It's like I spend 2000$ on insurance each year and my car gets messed up in a natural disaster and my insurance pays for it...comparint it to a person with no insurance who gets compensated for his car by the government. Makes sense?

is the compensation the same? i would think that if the government give compensation it would be minimal and the insurance co picks up the rest :dunno:
