I dont think it is the government responsibility to give people money to rebuild their house if they were too cheap to buy insurance. What about the people that bought insurance...it's nonsense to buy insurance then.

It's like I spend 2000$ on insurance each year and my car gets messed up in a natural disaster and my insurance pays for it...comparint it to a person with no insurance who gets compensated for his car by the government. Makes sense?
