I have gotten 375 miles on a tank. It was pretty much just plug'n play. Vtec pulls like a b-series but I hardly use vtec anyway. Just add some wires for vtec solenoid and ur good to go. oh and you need a p28 ecu

what year? my stock DX will get 400-430 on the highway. I've always wondered about doing this or at least the head swap.
If you don't use the ECU wouldn't you just have an 8-valve head that appartenly gets worse MPG than a z6?
