I actually didn't do too much with the timing, though I wish I did.

For the ignition timing, I just rotated the distributor as close to stock timing as I could. I'm still 1 or 2 degrees off because I'm using a hacked up b7 distributor, and the housing only goes so far. I could file even more material off, but I don't want to weaken the frame even more than it already is.

For cam timing, I set it as close to 0 degrees as possible. I'm using an adjustable cam gear to correct for the 4.5 degrees off issue that many mini-me's encounter.

I did not take the car to any sort of shop. However, I am letting an experienced tuner handle wideband o2 tuning, since the equipment is on the expensive side.
