my 15" alpine type-r its a dual 2 ohm sub and it runs 750 watts rms. im planning on running a Hifonics BXi 606 amp (600 watts at 1 ohm) at 500-550 watts.
this was the best amp i could find that pumps out the most watts at 1 ohm (budget-wise though) for less than $200 since 1 ohm amps are rare. unless anyone else can suggest other good amps at 1 ohm
