when i cruise at 80, i get 29.5 out of my LS, all stock. Schmoo is right. the goal is to get through the revs as quick as possible, and then have another gear to do it again.

that's why 6 speeds are better. you can have the same top gear, but all the other gears in between are shorter, giving better acceleration.

go with the GSR tranny. don't fuck with the LS. schmoo knows his shit. he's not gonna say anything at all unless he already KNOWS he's right. just take his word for it.
