Hey, I've got an idea for my 93 LS, but I need to know if it's a bad idea. First off, I want to rebuild my cable transmission with shorter gears, probably the ITRs ratio, or another comparable set of ratios (since there are several). After that, I'd buy another B18AorB engine cuz mine has an assload of miles on it, and then boost it.

My question is, the LS has a pretty low compression ratio, but is it still good to boost, and would the stock tranny (with shorter gears) be okay under that kind of power?
