What, control other drivers? Simple, you have no idea what they are doing, what condition their car is in, or even if they are sane. Sure, the ability to have a computer stop your car for you is great, but that doesn't mean Joe Average is going to stop his car.

If you are asking why I don't miss my ABS, its because I can only remember one time in my life that I've locked up my brakes (in a non-ABS vehicle, of course.) I still had plenty of room to slide to a stop. It was the guy behind me that I was worried about, he stopped about 1/2 inch from my rear bumper.
