Remember your brakes are only as good as your tires. You could have a 12" rotor kit on your civic but crappy tires and your car needs tires to slow down or it's just a waste of money.

Personally Civic braking systems are more than enough to slow down a car. What everyone thinks is that a big brake system will slow down a car, but it's actually the tires.

Heck I've locked up my 00 Civic Si on DOT R tires which means my brakes are more than big enough to slow down the car.
