So i got a new sub and amp in my 2001 accord ex. I have a rockford fosgate t500.2 that is puts out about 600-700 watts at 2 ohms. this is for a 15in RE XXX
. I would guess the amp pulls about 55 amps at that rms. Leaving me a little short on power with the stock 80 alternator and the stock battery. I'm looking for recommendations for a bigger alternator i'd really like one in the 150-180 range. Cause i tried it earlier today and the lights were dimming slightly. if i got a t1000 rockford (which i plan on doing) to give the sub it's actual rms i would definately need a new alt. last question would i have to update wiring and battery also if i got a HO alternator?
