okay, here's the deal: i have an '89 civic dx hatchback and a B18b1 from a '96 integra ls. my plan is to tear it down to the block and start building it for a turbo. i want to try and get 300 whp and shave my weight down from 2k lbs. that i'm at now to about 1700lbs.

here's my first question. since i'm going to drop my compression ratio from stock to 9-1, should i go with the suggestions i found in an article from sport compact car that state:

for maximum street performance on an 1800cc to 2200cc engine, use:

turbo: T04E
compressor trim and housing a/r: 50 trim 0.50 housing
turbine: T31, 76 trim or T350, 76 trim
exhaust housing a/r: T3: 0.63-0.82
strong boost onset: 3500-4500 rpm
approximate power potential: 300 to 420 hp
