Dunno about up there in canada, eh. But we have some AutoZone type stores that will hookup and do a battery test and alternator test for free. If you got that up there, do it.

If you don't have that, then replace the battery with a new one. That'll at least eliminate a lot of possible problems.
well ad poorly as ive decribed the problem does it seem like an alternator problem, or does the alternator usually cut off power while your driving ?
