For example the Nissan Murano has a CVT and Motorweek describes the CVT as not letting the engine perform at it's full potential. And in no way am i comparing the Murano the Accord, i am just simply stating what i've heard of the CVT transmission.
From what I've read the CVT's manufactured by JATCO for the 2007 Nissans will have a different programming in terms of adjusting the ratios. They did this to minimize the "slipping clutch feel" that is the bane of older CVT's.
