I actually used the Mugen lip, almost same as type-r, for my 02 accord about 2 yrs ago. It does not fit. I had to have one of my friends cut and extend it with metal sheets and smooth out/paint for it to fit correctly. So unless you're going to get some body work done, type-r wont work.
