GSR redline - 8100 RPM
Type R redline - 8400 RPM
My R used to wind to about 9100 RPM before it would start to cut out though. With modified ECU, my GSR was 8600 RPM
Having owned both, they are definitely not the same car. The R is a MUCH stiffer chassis and the engine is
completely different.
