Default What I did and what i plan to do, intake manifold/T Body

1994 Honda EX 4cyl Auto Vtec
I took of my intake to polish, I looked in the throttle body and it was really dirty, so I am getting a new air filter for my intake, I made sure the intake had no leaks. I took off my throttle body and cleaned it inside and out with a clean rag and some car/choke cleaner, It cleaned up nice. My car now has a slightly better throttle responnse, and the pedal moves easier.

When i took off my throttle body I noticed my intake manifold was dirty as well, it just looked dirty from being old and uncleaned, it had alot of black. Heres my question, Since the throttle body was made from a mold and is a cast peice it has seems and is very very rough inside, could I take it off and clean it just as i did my throttle body? AND could I use a Wire brush wheel to polish the inside of the manifold? Would all the be same and should I do it? I know it's dirty, at least the cleaneing part would be ok right?
