PITA = pain in the ass

My problem was the ground that connects to the thermostat housing. I thought my friend hooked up that & he thought I hooked it up.

So 4 hours later & going thru the Helms manual circuit by circuit, we finally find the problem. Damn some G151 ground (Thermo ground).

ELD is connected to just about every damn circuit in the car. When I have an ELD code, I cringe cuz it is the most feared by people who hate doing electrical troubleshooting.

First thing to check are all your fuses, then check your alternator as the ELD prime function is to measure the charging of the battery & keep the alternator from overdoing it.

After that, check the continuity from ELD wire to ECU. After that, make sure your ecu is good. If those check out ok, then start eliminating circuits until you find the problem.

If you have power to some grounds, check your ground circuits first instead of your power circuits, it could have saved me some time.
