oh, and I doubt that enough water to ruin your car came in through a tiny little gap between the body of the car and the taillight. Maybe if he left both taillights out of the car and it rained sideways for 40 days and 40 nights. I don't know how 6" deep of water through the whole car could leak in through a tiny little crack. Also, you didn't drive your car for 10 days? Your story sounds like it doesn't hold water. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Not trying to be an asshole but there has to be something else going on with the car, like he left the sunroof open and didn't want to admit it or something.
