Any suggestions on my LS '96 Teg brake pads replacement? I had it checked at an Acura service center and they estimated me at least $1000 for both rear brake pads (including brake fluid, labor, etc.). Will Pepboys, Sears or gas station service stations do for a more economical option? Should I buy brake pads and have it placed in a service center?

Would appreciate suggestions.
