It has a ecu 'chip' that was placed in it to keep the exhaust valve open a second longer to allow all the exhaust to flow out, being it has a custom striaght-flow resonator exhaust setup and was tuned (and used to belong to) the daughter/neice (cant rememeber at the moment) of Newman-Haas racing (and indy car co. paul newman owns, whom aslo starred in that cars movie, look it up!).
an ecu chip is electronical....a valve opening is mechanical. there isnt any coarilation between the two. basically your chipped ecu sends diffrent fuel maps to your motor. your chipped ecu can not adjust your valves to open or close any longer then what the cam profile is grinded to.
