A stiffer spring rate will also add days, months or even years to the life of the subframe. Thus, the driving condition will effect the subframe tremendously. As stated, he heard a pop going at a forty-five degree angle up a driveway. As you will figure out, this will put a tremdous load on the subframe. Pot holes, speed bumps, and any other anti-speeding obsticles will contribute to the tear-out. There is no other way to be safe but there is a way to be prepared. Reinforce the subframe with either an ASR or a comptech kit. Stiffer spring rates will help. Put some money away for a rainy day. And good luck.
Yea I already have changed my driving style. Instead of angling all wheels I only angle the front wheels then bring the rears as parallel as possible.
Maybe I should fix it up, get the asr brace and stock sway bar and call it a day.
