OK, that makes sense and all but even though you gain power up top you still lose a little torque down low with the SRI but the V6 has enough torque to begin with so you don't notice it. My little 4 banger has so little torque that even the slightest drop in torque is noticable.
But with the SRI you both gain torque down low and gain HP at the top end because it can breathe better. And the J30A1 really doesn't have that much torque.
People with the J30A1 consistently the 1/4 mile .2-.4 seconds quicker with only an SRI but stock or slightly slower than stock (assuming it's 15.9-16.0) with a CAI of any kind.
