My cousin just installed a t3t4 in his del sol and he spent about 2700. I was wonderin what the cheapest setup possible i can get. Willing to do DIY shit.
On d16y8 engine(civic).
I was thinking a dsm t25 @10lb boost. Will I need an intercooler or could i simply use a charge pipe. I know i need a maniflod and downpipe which are pretty expensive. The thing i'm am unsure about is my ecu. Will i need to get uberdata or can I just get my stick chip tweaked. Or is there a cheaper and reliable way for fuel management. I was thinking maybe 330 or 440 injectors. I will also need OBD1 to OBD2 conversion harness and OBD1 injector clips, correct. Will my map sensor be ok to or will i need and upgraded map sensor or a missing link. I looked at homemadeturbo.com but didn't find what i was lookin for.
