Yes, stiffer rear springs help the problem, but only makes it less likely to happen.
Well I pulled off the bar, so at least I can drive it.
So what happened was it tore out the welded nut, then the bar wanted to get pulled down, it couldn't so it started to tear it from the top and buckle at the bottom.
