Even though the shocks are new, the sound like OEM replacements and they won't stand up well to the stiffer spring rate of the Skunk2 or GC coilovers. You will need to upgrade the shocks if you want to run a coilover setup without the shocks blowing within a matter of months.

If you are on a tight budget, look into a set of KYB AGX shocks. They are 4 way adjustable and will stand up better to the stiffer coilovers much better than stock shocks will.
