Ok, when my dad bought my 99 integra LS, he replaced the whole suspension with struts and springs that i think were recommended by the auto-shop he got it replaced in (he had to).

SO i was thinking about buying skunk2 or GC coilovers (after doing research) to give my car a better, lower, look. I asked my dad what kind of struts they installed and he said they were Macpherson struts.


Questions:

I was wondering IF the new coilovers would be compatible to the MacPherson struts (been on for a while)?

Are coilovers something that you have to replace the whole suspension?

Will i suffer consequences in the long run if i put the new coilovers with the partially new struts, or should iget a whole new suspension kit with new shocks/struts?
