I'd check 2 things:

1. the actual wires that run to the bulb's connector. Make sure the wire isn't exposed in any spot or frayed.

2. check the seal on the bulb housings. If condensation seeps into the lamp housing, then water gathers on your bulbs. Turn them on and they'll pop.
