I just feel very indifferent about this, and I am glad I have responses on this thread because I was very curious.
Sex is no longer treated as something that is shared between a man and woman in love. Instead, it's viewed as recreational. At least this is the state of thought for a lot of people. People will have sex for fun, some will pay for it and some will pay for it in another form.
Think of it this way, you go out to a club to pick up a girl for some fun. She is aware of this and she's down for the cause, but not before you drop a few bucks on her drinks to appease her. You take her back to your place and get it on with protection, of course. The next morning it's bye bye or maybe something else, but it's usually bye bye. With the spread of STD's you did your part by using protection, yet in the back of your mind you still have a bit of doubt.
You go to a brothel in the middle of nowhere. You go in, choose your girl, pay the house, go get it on, tip the girl, and you leave......Short and simple. You know that these girls get tested regularly, and they insist on protection here because they don't want your STD's either.
Notice that in both scenarios you paid for sex in the end. It's the process of getting there that is different. Now, I am all about sex being sacred between and a woman, but that's my personal beliefs. I just don't buy the whole disease spreading stance and the it's wrong attitude that people are spouting off about.
That's just me.....
Also, I don't mean you guys when I said those people spouting off. We're having a good discussion in here vs. those whacko's shouting off nonsense on TV or in the newspaper
