Hi i'm new here, and to the
acura scene alltogether having just purchased a 94 integra ls. I've been into older BMW's scince i got my lisence, but just recently got the acura as a track/summer
car because my e30 costs way too much to break on a regular basis. i got the car pretty cheap because it was the victim of a front end hit (the wheel pretty much took the force of the impact) which bent the lower control arm and pulled the inner cv joint completely apart. my question for you guys is how i should go about getting the spindle nut off. if the axle is broken like mine is, im guessing that because there is no resistance on it that the spindle nut will just turn freely with the axle. the reason why i think this is because i have step by step instruction for replacement of an axle that says i have to leave the car in gear which makes me think it needs that resistence to remove the spindle nut....
anyhow, i was just wondering if somebody could help me out, any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Wes
